About National Convention & Expenses -
The 2016 Republican National Convention will be held in Cleveland, Ohio at the Quicken Loans Arena July 18-21, 2016. The event will be host no nearly 2,500 delegates and almost as many alternates from across the country.
This is the 4th time Cleveland has been host to the Republican National Convention - the last time being 1936!
It is typical for the cost to attend National Convention to total between $3,500 and $4,000 per attendee. Whomever is elected as the Sheridan County Delegate to National Convention will be required to cover all of their own expenses.
The Process to Become Our Delegate -
The process for becoming the Sheridan County Delegate to the Republican National Convention has a few steps:
1) Anyone wishing to seek election to become our Delegate to National Convention is required to officially declare the Republican Presidential Nominee for whom they would vote at National Convention if elected. Each candidate may download the official form (Provided by the Wyoming Republican Party) by clicking HERE.

Please note: Nomination Forms will not be accepted after 9:30am on March 12th
2) During the Sheridan County Republican County Convention (March 12th from 9AM to 3PM at the Historic Sheridan Inn), all who wish to become the Sheridan County Delegate to National Convention will be given an opportunity to speak to the Convention body. Each speaker will identify the candidate for whom they would cast their ballot at National Convention and why.
3) Delegates to the Sheridan County Republican County Convention will vote to elect Sheridan County's Delegate to National Convention from those who have completed this process.
